Privacy Policy

Last updated January 2026

This policy explains what brianleaderautoship.com collects when you request a quote or book a vehicle shipment, how that information is used, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to shipments arranged through it.

Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to quote and arrange your vehicle transport.

  • Contact details you provide: name, phone number, email address
  • Shipment details: pickup and delivery ZIP codes and addresses, vehicle year/make/model, running condition, transport type, and date preferences
  • Communications you send us by phone, text, email, or the on-site chat
  • Basic technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring site

How we use it

  • To produce your quote and arrange transport with a licensed motor carrier
  • To contact you about your shipment, including dispatch and delivery updates
  • To provide required information to the assigned carrier so they can complete pickup and delivery
  • To meet legal, insurance, and FMCSA record-keeping obligations
  • To improve the website and our service quality

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party lead buyers, marketing lists, or other brokers. Your phone number is used to talk to you about your shipment — not to be resold into a call queue.

Who we share it with

Your information is shared only with the motor carrier assigned to your vehicle (name, contact details, addresses, and vehicle information — the minimum required to complete the move), with service providers who operate our systems under confidentiality obligations, and where required by law or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Text messages

If you provide a mobile number, you consent to receive calls and text messages about your shipment, including messages sent by automated systems. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time; this does not affect our ability to reach you by phone or email about an active shipment.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses essential cookies for basic functionality, including remembering your light or dark mode preference, which is stored locally in your browser and never sent to us. If analytics are enabled, they are used in aggregate to understand traffic patterns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Data retention and security

Shipment records are retained for as long as required by federal transportation and insurance regulations, and then deleted. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Depending on your state of residence you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — which, as noted above, we do not do.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
